Antaira MSC-204B1 4-port RS-422/485 PCI Express Card, Optional Surge and Isolation Protection

The MSC-204B1, manufactured by Antaira Technologies, is an RS-422/485 PCI Express (PCIe) card that adds 4 serial ports to desktops, servers, and industrial computers.  It may function as a client or server to connect serial-based devices like instruments, scanners, meters, and sensors.  A break-out cable expands the front panel DB-44 connector to four male DB-9 connectors with secure screw locks.  It supports 2-wire and 4-wire RS-422/485 connections and transfer rates to 921.6 Kbps.

Windows and Linux operating system device drivers are included.  With the plug-and-play wizard located on the CD-ROM, installation and setup is simple.  The wizard will recognize the card and install the correct driver software automatically.  You’ll be sending data in no time.
