Antaira Technologies’ MSC-208C-SI is an RS-232/422/485 PCI Express (PCIe) interface card plus terminal box that adds 8 ports of serial communication to industrial computers, servers and desktops.  Built for serial intense projects, it functions as client or server to connect industrial serial equipment like meters, scanners, card readers and instruments.   The PCI serial card connects to the terminal box to allow simple wiring of serial devices.  It supports 2-wire RS-232 signals, 4-wire RS-422/485 and 2-wire RS-485 connections.  Each serial channel is programmable.  The MSC-208C-SI fits into any standard x1 PCIe slot.  With a simple plug-and-play installation wizard, it is easy to setup and use.
