The LNX-0501G-SFP is a 5-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch offering the extra stability and reliability a network requires. The LNX-0501G-SFP provides 4 Gigabit Ethernet ports plus a single independent, dual-rate SFP slot. These high speed ports make it ideal for bandwidth critical applications.
This switch is about protection. It provides high ESD, unregulated voltage attenuation and high electromagnetic noise immunity. In addition, it features reverse polarity protection and dual DC input for power redundancy. With a rugged, aluminum case and hardened electronics, it will operate in temperatures as low as -10°C and as high as 70°C. Choose the extended version for temperature extremes from -40°C to 75°C. It supports both DIN-Rail and wall mounting.
If by any chance a power outage or port failure occurs, the built-in relay warning function will notify the on-call staff by sending out an alarm. This feature saves valuable downtime and helps engineers locate the exact point of failure. Additionally, the LNX-0501G-SFP has broadcast storm protection to block continuous multicast or broadcast traffic which can cause the whole network to fail. This traffic will be ignored until the rate decreases to an allowed threshold.
