The LNP-800-M12-T is an 8-port fast Ethernet switch designed for railway applications. Four of the eight are IEEE 802.3af compliant Power over Ethernet (PoE) ports that deliver up to 15.4 watts to PoE devices. With secure M12 connections, a wide operating temperature of -40° to 75°C and a shock and vibration resistant metal enclosure, it withstands the harshest industrial and train environments. For added reliability, a redundant power input with bypass function switches to secondary power should primary power fail. The LNP-800-M12-T is an unmanaged switch so setup and installation is quick and easy.
RAILWAY COMPLIANCE
The LNP-800-M12-T is qualified to EN50155, EN50121-3-2 and EN50121-4 international railway standards. These specify power, temperature, humidity, shock, vibration and other criteria that electronic equipment must meet for rolling stock and railway applications. Electronics are required to operate continuously and reliably for 250,000 hours without failure. That’s over 30 years! Engineered with these standards in mind, the LNP-800-M12-T is built to handle the toughest railway projects.
