***DISCONTINUED*** This Ethernet Extender is discontinued. It has been rplaced by the IVC-4011-T-V2.
One of the great challenges in industrial networking is extending coverage without driving costs to high. For many facilities, campuses or operations, laying Ethernet cable to cover the full range is unattainable. A simpler solution exists in the form of Antaira Technology’s IVC-4011-T. This network extender can repurpose existing phone or coaxial lines to expand the range of your network substantially.
The IVC-4011-T is built for convenience. With 4 Fast Ethernet ports, you can give several key devices access to the extended network. It offers one asymmetric or symmetric Ethernet over a VDSL2 port. The VDSL2 port may be an RJ-11 or BNC connector. Utilizing the BNC, the converter can turn any coaxial cable into a fully-functioning internet line. On the other side of things, the RJ11 port works through Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS). A built-in splitter makes management easy so the phone line can be used for its original purpose in tandem with extending internet communications.
This converter is an easy solution, but the Antaira name provides more than convenience and functionality. This device is tough. Its extended temperature range has been brutally tested to operate in conditions from 40 below to 75°C. Reliability is expanded with a redundant power inputs and DIN-rail mounting. It is also equipped with surge protection making it safe to use with standard industrial power lines. Topping it all off is Antaira’s highly competitive 5-year warranty. This is a device you can trust, and its integrity will save you money in labor and replacement equipment.
When you need to cover vast ranges, you need economical solutions. That is exactly what the IVC-4011-T provides; and, it does so with gusto. Take a few minutes to speak with one of our knowledgeable representatives today. We can help you gauge the most cost-effect ways to extend your network without sacrificing data rates or uptime. And, we’ll help you map a deployment plan that optimizes your resources.
