Whether you are a First Responder or in a public safety support role, the AirgainConnect AC-HPUE-C3W2G provides a quick and easy way to upgrade to first responder frequencies. The AC-HPUE-C3W2G transmits at up to 10x the power of conventional cellular when combined with Airgain’s patented technology eliminating the lossy cables between the modem and the antenna.

The AirgainConnect AC-HPUE-C3W2G is built for FirstNet MegaRange, the high power user equipment (HPUE) solution that transmits at a higher power when connected on Band 14. It is the first and only antenna-modem available for use on FirstNet. Following 3GPP and FCC standards, the increased signal can only be transmitted using Band 14 spectrum - the nationwide, high-quality spectrum set aside by the U.S. government specifically for FirstNet. The platform combines an integrated antenna system and LTE modem inside of a single rooftop enclosure, designed for easy installation while meeting the demanding connectivity needs of public safety, fleet, and enterprise vehicles. By integrating the modem within an antenna assembly, AirgainConnect’s patented technology is capable of transmitting the maximum allowable radiated power directly to the LTE antenna elements. When compared to a conventional modem, AirgainConnect maximizes coverage, building penetration, and throughput for critical communications applications.

The AC-HPUE-C3W2G includes two high gain tri-band Wi-Fi antennas (with support for Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6E, and Wi-Fi 7), a GNSS low noise amplified antenna, and the associated coax cables to connect these antennas directly to the vehicle router. If you have a FirstNet SIM, you will default to band 14 and the higher power of the HPUE.

While the AC-HPUE-C3W2G is ideal for public safety vehicles, it also brings performance benefits to enterprise vehicles because it supports all AT&T bands and provides superior performance on those bands when compared to a conventional vehicle router modem and antenna. In addition to vehicle applications, the AC-HPUE can also be used in stationary applications like a dispatch center. This antenna is also available without Wi-Fi and GPS. See the AC-HPUE-C3.
