WoMaster WA512GM-IP67 Mesh WiFi Router with SON Technology, IP67 Rated
The WA512GM-IP67 from WoMaster is the world’s first weather-proof, outdoor router to adopt the latest WiFi mesh technology. Built for the growing demands of connecting outdoor spaces, the mesh WiFi features Self Organizing Network (SON) technology that automatically selects and links various wireless devices together with a mesh topology. As a result, the WA512GM-IP67 significantly improves network coverage and benefits applications such as public arenas with many users, production yards, military networks, public service communications, and advanced security systems.
Equipped with a high-performance quad-core ARM processor, the WA512GM-IP67 can serve dual channels of 5 GHz (IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2) and 2.4 GHz (IEEE 802.11n) WLAN radios at the same time and achieve throughput up to 866 Mbps. Advanced cybersecurity protocols like OpenVPN, IPSec, L2TP, and GRE tunnel offer are included. The outdoor design includes a slim IP67-rated enclosure, extended operating temperature, and PoE input for easy integration into IoT networks.

Mesh WiFi Structure
- Each mesh AP communicates with each other to automatically find the best path for packets transmission.
- Central AP (CAP) with WAN connection
- Range Extender (RE) connected to CAP directly or indirectly
- Single SSID for all CAP/RE for easy setup and fast roaming
- CAP extends to 7 RE or up to 4 layers
- All devices can be configured as CAP or RE (by default)
- 50-meter hop distance using supplied omnidirectional antenna
- Optional directional antenna up to 10 KM long range
Self-Organizing and Self-Healing Mesh Network
- Band steering automatically selects the best-performing band and path.
- Concurrent 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz Bands for different clients with default omnidirectional antennas
- AP Steering connects all wireless devices to the best AP
- Multiple backhaul links with failsafe and load-balancing
- Automatic rerouting when an AP fails
- Eliminates network bottlenecks
- Interference management via band steering
- Airtime fairness with seamless roaming
Seamless Roaming
- IEEE 802.11k (Radio Resource Measurement) sends each client a list of neighbors
- IEEE 802.11v (BSS Transition Management Frames) BSS transition sends each client the best AP
- IEEE 1905.1 enables AP auto-configuration and joins the network with a unified security procedure
- Automatically find the optimal path by fewer hops/ less loading and switch to the new RE
