The ISPC.91A embedded ceramic patch antenna an automotive antenna for LoRa and Sigfox USA. The cable and connector is designed primarily for the 915 MHz ISM band. The antenna functions best when the backside is placed on a metal panel. When placed on a reference 30 cm square ground-plane, the antenna has an excellent directional hemispherical radiation pattern up to 5dBi on the zenith and an efficiency of 71%. Even without a ground-plane underneath the antenna achieves 1dBi and efficiency of 50-60%, with an omnidirectional pattern. This ceramic patch antenna is ideal for: RFID Readers, Short Range 915 MHz Mesh Networks, and Automotive ISM Applications.
