The Crosspoint XP-10150-BS1 is a member of Proxim’s integrated multipoint client and WiFi access point system. It offers high-performance wireless networking operating on the IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standards. It is designed for use in both indoor and outdoor environments and can deliver reliable and high-speed wireless connectivity over long distances.
The XP-10150-BS1 is a base station unit that pairs with the XP-10100-SUA and XP-10150-SUR subscriber units. It features an internal 2x2 MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) directional antennas with 22 dBi of gain, allowing simultaneous bidirectional data transmission, increasing overall network performance and throughput up to 866 Mbps. In addition, you can expect up to 24 dBm output power and a maximum range of up to 10 kilometers.
Advanced features such as Quality of Service (QoS) and VLAN tagging allow network administrators to prioritize and separate network traffic into segments. The XP10150-BS1 has security features, including support for 802.1X authentication, WPA/WPA2 encryption, and authentication. It also supports multiple SSIDs (Service Set Identifiers), allowing network administrators to create separate wireless networks with unique security settings and access restrictions.
The XP-10150-BS1 base station is easy to install and manage, thanks to its web-based management interface and support for SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol). It supports various deployment scenarios, including standalone mode, point-to-point, point-to-multipoint, and mesh networking.
