The EPNT-1 from Poynting is a rugged outdoor enclosure with built-in MIMO antennas. It’s designed to host a variety of cellular routers, transforming the antenna enclosure into Customer Premises Equipment (CPE). The front half of the dome contains six antenna elements, and the rear half offers a 185 x 145 x 45 mm³ space for your LTE or 5G router, power, and other electronics.
The EPNT-1 combines cross-polarized omnidirectional cellular antennas for enhanced performance, and it’s perfect for compact 4×4 MIMO or dual 2×2 MIMO LTE or 5G routers. The MIMO configuration offers high stability and throughput in congested areas and locations with several nearby base stations. The cellular elements cover a wideband frequency range from 617 to 3800 MHz with a peak gain of 5 dBi. The EPNT-1 also includes two omnidirectional dual-band Wi-Fi 2x2 MIMO antennas, covering the 2.4 GHz and 5 to 6 GHz frequencies. The IP-65 weatherproof enclosure standups up the adverse conditions and temperatures.
