The PTA0817 antenna gasket creates a watertight seal for the Husky mobile antennas when mounting the antenna on vehicles like cars, SUVs, and vans. The fitted design keeps out water and dust that could damage the vehicle or antenna. Although the gasket creates a gap between the vehicle surface and antenna, the PTA0817 includes four conductive blocks built into the foam which maintain a ground plane, improving antenna performance.
