The RMM-1400 antenna is among the most rugged and impact resistant antennas making it excellent for applications which require products that meet high vibration and water ingress standards. This model covers 1300-1500 MHz and can be used for military applications at 1350 MHz or energy applications at 1400 MHz. This antenna is for vehicles or fixed location applications.
The RMM-1400 has a small foot print of 3” high x 1.75” diameter. This makes mounting the antenna simple and easy on any vehicle, especially when space is an issue. The antenna radome consists of ASA UV resistant plastic with a heavy duty metal base and threaded stud. It has been tested to and has passed a series of shock and vibration tests, as well as water ingress testing. These tests include IP67 water ingress testing and MIL-810G shock and vibration.
The design uses a 5/8” (16 mm) feed thru for securing to the vehicle. The antenna is outfitted with 1 foot of LL-195 cable & SMA male connector. It can also be terminated with a direct N Jack (Female) which is mounted directly to the device. See the RMM-1400-DN.
