The PS14-5900 antenna can be used for deploying point-to-point backhaul, or for point-to-multipoint applications. In addition to 5.9 GHz WiFi, this antenna can also be deployed in smart highway or DSRC applications.
Front to back ratio is maintained at better than 25 dB. This allows true sectorization. These sectors allow services to be isolated to different areas. The PS14-5900 antenna is compact. Conventional pole mounting can be used, for quick and uncomplicated network deployment. The adjustable tilt mounting bracket allows easy alignment. Pole mounted, the antenna can be adjusted 360 degrees around the pole, as well as up to 45-degree vertical downward tilt. Surface/wall mounting is also accommodated with an optional double swivel wall bracket allowing for both vertical and horizontal adjustment.
Compact in size, only 12.5” H x 3” W (32 cm x 7.6 cm), this antenna will be unobtrusive in any indoor or outdoor environment. It is 100% weatherproof and can withstand the harshest conditions. External lightning protection is recommended (to protect the radio) for outdoor mounting. This antenna design uses the latest PCB technology for high performance, lower cost, and compact size. The antenna terminates with an integral female N connector.
