The OD6-2000 antenna is optimized for use in AWS wireless systems using the 1710-2170 MHz band. It has functionality for UMTS, a band more common in Europe using 2.1 GHz, as well as military capability using the 1800 MHz band. This antenna can be used for access point or customer premise equipment (CPE) units. The omnidirectional coverage makes installation simpler because it is easier to align with other antennas in the wireless network. Using the latest PCB technology, the OD6-2000 antenna improves high-speed broadband system performance. This design maintains an omni pattern in the horizontal plane.

This is a free space antenna so no ground plane is required. The fiberglass rod style radome makes the antenna durable and rugged. It can withstand the harshest environments of snow, wind, rain and ice.The feed assembly is made of precision machined aluminum components and is irridited for weather protection.

The “U” Bolt style mounting kit allows this antenna to be easily mounted to a pole, however the 1/2 inch base bolt also allows it to be surface mounted. It is supplied with all the hardware needed to install to a mast and normally terminates with a female N connector. There is an option for a coax pigtail termination. It can be directly outfitted with coax cable so no additional jumpers are required.
