The HD4-2400 heavy-duty 2.4 GHz WiFi antenna from Mobile Mark is perfect for fixed machine-to-machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications. It operates in a frequency range from 2400 to 2485 MHz and offers a peak gain of 4 dBi. The HD4-2400 does not require a ground plane for proper operation. Its omnidirectional WiFi coverage features a 57-degree vertical beamwidth and a 360-degree horizontal beamwidth.

The HD4-2400 was designed specifically for a precision agriculture application. This rugged, low profile WiFi antenna was designed to continue to perform, even if it was kicked or trampled by livestock. The radome of this extremely durable antenna is made of an overmolded black UV stable polyamide that is damage resistant, weather resistant, and vibration resistant. It passes the IP67 water ingress rating, as well as several military and industrial standards for shock and vibration.

Measuring only .60” high and 2.75” in diameter, the compact HD4-2400 mounts easily to almost any flat surface. A standard low loss 195 cable with an SMA plug is routed through a hollow threaded stud at the base of the antenna. The cable is hidden from view when the antenna is mounted to a control cabinet or vehicle. The assembly tightens with a nut and washer.
