ECOS5-2400-DN Spring Mount Antenna, WiFi

The ECOS5-2400-DN is a spring mount, high frequency antenna designed for new WiFi technology applications. It operates on the 2.4 - 2.5 GHZ band with 5 dBi gain. This is a free space antenna and ground plane independent.

The antenna uses low loss -195 cable to improve efficiency. The vertical radome is black fiberglass with an ASA base assembly and is weatherproof. It has the radiating element located higher in a longer radome, providing higher clearance for lightbars on police vehicles.The spring is strong and flexible enough to handle impact with obstacles such as tree branches overhead in a vehicle mounted application. The spring maintains vertical position at all speeds, but will deflect if hit by an obstruction.

The ECOS5-2400-DN antenna terminates at the bottom with an “N” Jack (Female) connector. The cable assembly is sold separately in addition to the appropriate radio connector.
