The EME1P2O-005 is an AlertWerks remote power switch that can be used to control electrical power to remote devices over an IP network. It is a component of the Black Box AlertWerks Environmental Monitoring System, designed for use in data centers and other facilities.

• Controls electric power over the Internet or other IP network
• Powered by the Environmental Monitoring System Hub no external power needed
• Normally in the open (off) position, switched on by a control signal from the sensor hub
• Metal oxide varistors and snubber circuits provide protection from electrical disturbance
• Monitors power and load
• Includes a 5-ft. (1.5-m) CAT5 cable, which can be replaced with up to 100 feet of CAT5 for longer distances
