Black Box IC740A HD-SDI Balun

Use inexpensive UTP cable instead of bulky coax to extend the distance between digital video devices. This tiny IC740A balun allows audio equipment to be connected or moved within a structured cabling environment. Transmit uncompressed, unencrypted digital video up to 150 feet (45 m) via unshielded copper twisted pair (UTP) in a point-to-point connection. Use the balun in video production, broadcasting, HD camcorder, studio-to-studio, post-production, live events, medical imaging displays, mobile video, HD/SD routing, HD-CCTV, and medical imaging applications.
