The SM-900/1900 is a low profile surface mount antenna providing coverage on Trunking and US GSM/CDMA bands. Electrical operation is provided by a low profile, yet high efficiency air dielectric radiating element. This maintains effective radiation across the desired frequency range, with omnidirectional coverage.
The low profile surface mount style antenna can be mounted to any metal structure such as a vehicle roof, cargo container, or trailer bulkhead. The antenna is enclosed in a weatherproof UV rated ASA radome, and supplied with all mounting hardware and sealing gasket. Access to the underside of the body surface is required to aid the installation. The antenna is outfitted with 15 feet of LL-195 cable and typically an SMA connector. Groundplane required for optimal performance.
