The Cradlepoint AP22 Wi-Fi access point, together with the AER Series routers, extends dependable WiFi coverage in small and medium-sized businesses, branch offices, retail stores, clinics, and restaurants. It’s an affordable wireless solution that brings security, reliability, and easy-to-use cloud management.
Seamless WiFi connectivity is provided through concurrent dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz radios. Support for the IEEE 802.11ac Wave 2 standard and MU-MIMO (multi-user, multiple inputs, multiple outputs) allows users to communicate on the wireless network at the same time. This technology enables not only speeds up the network dramatically, but it also permits multiple clients to receive data simultaneously while reducing the amount of congestion. By increasing the total network performance, the overall user experience is greatly enhanced. It also implements fast roaming when multiple AP22 and AER2200 or AER1600 routers are deployed together.
The Cradlepoint AP22 is sold with the NetCloud Essentials Plan, an all-inclusive networking service package comprised of services, hardware, and support. NetCloud cloud management software enables simple, zero-touch deployment and control of remote Cradlepoint routers and access points.
