The Taogas FW.24 (Meteor) is a flexible, outdoor-rated 2.4 GHz whip antenna. It features excellent efficiency (>75%) and high peak gain (>4 dBi) and operates between 2400 and 2500 MHz. The antenna was specifically developed for applications such as weather monitoring systems, motion and vibration sensors, pollution monitoring, and border guard monitoring systems. The FW.24 works in the 2.4 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth, and ISM band and allows your radio to consume less power than a lower-efficiency antenna.
Made of a flexible inner steel core covered by a PE material, the FW.24 is extremely resistant to abrasion and maintains its original shape and RF performance in wind and adverse conditions. The rugged IP65-rated design passed environmental stress and moderate physical shock testing in the field. The installation requires a 30 x 30 cm ground plane.
