Mobile 5G Connectivity with Ericsson R980 Router, High-Gain Antennas, Battery or AC

A portable communication system is essential for first responders, military agencies, and rescue units involved in emergency response and disaster relief. To fulfill the need for instant Internet and WiFi hotspots, Westward Sales offers the WSH7BX-R98 – a mobile network in a case, providing high-performance, secure communications. Outfitted with an Ericsson R980 cellular router and high-performance antennas, this carrying case acts as an industrial Wi-Fi hotspot, delivering high-speed internet connectivity via cellular and Wi-Fi for users in the field. It’s perfect for establishing cellular coverage in remote or congested areas where the signal is low or compromised. It makes an ideal mobile hotspot for first responders, critical communications, surveillance, covert operations, and more.

The rugged case with antennas mounted in the lid offers 4x4 MIMO 5G LTE, 2x2 MIMO Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz), and GPS elements integrated into the lid. An Ericsson R980 cellular router is mounted beneath the top panel and connected to the seven antennas via short, low-loss cables. The standard configuration comes with an internal 12 VDC rechargeable battery for true mobility. One powered by 110 VAC is available by request. The impact-resistant and water-resistant carrying case is ideal for moving to and from locations, as it protects against rough handling and outdoor conditions.
