The GOT712S-837 manufactured by Axiomtek is a human machine interface (HMI) PC designed to tackle the extreme conditions of the railway industry. This panel PC is EN 50155 certified for railway applications and reliable enough for railway sector jobs like speed and temperature monitoring, controls, security, and fleet management. This is a heavy-duty touch panel capable of withstanding some of the worst conditions frequent in heavy-rail and outdoor operations.  Its fanless construction and low-powered Intel Atom allows it to operate in temperatures as low as -25°C and as high as 70°C.  Humidity isn't a problem either.  The HMI PC stands up to relative humidity between 10 percent at 95 percent at 40°C.

The GOT712S-837 features an exceptionally bright 12.1-inch XGA display at an impressive sunlight-readable 800 nit.  The screen also features resistive touchscreen, 1024 by 768 resolution and a wide 160°/160° viewing angle. The whole package provides excellent visibility.  Intelligent transportation requires high quality and reliable equipment.  That’s why this embedded computer is equipped with waterproof M12 connectors to secure dual serial, USB, Gigabit Ethernet and DC power input connections.  It also includes an IP65 / NEMA 4 rated front bezel to keep out dust, water and contaminants.

The GOT712S-837 sports a quad-core, 1.91 GHz, Intel Atom E3845 processor built to handle multi-tasking and multi-threated applications.  It also features low-power Intel HD Graphics and supports up to 8 GB of RAM. The computer comes with 16 GB of built-in flash storage and features a single mSATA connection for additional storage as needed.
