The USB-HUB3-7K-V2 USB 3.0 hub is compliant to the Universal Serial Bus (USB) specification, revision 3.0 and capable of transferring data at 5 Gbps. It offers 7 external downstream ports with standard A-type USB connectors and 1 external upstream port with a B-type connector. Built with a RISC USB hub controller, the downstream ports are backwards compatible with USB 1.1 and 2.0 devices.
The 2-pin terminal block accepts 7 – 40V DC power. The AC to DC adapter is sold separately. The USB-HUB3-7K-V2 may source power through USB ports. It supports standard USB charging specifications. Enhanced 350 watt surge protection for each port inhibits voltage and current spikes.
Due to advancements in technology and component availability, the USB-HUB3-7K-V2 replaced the USB-HUB3-7K. The phase-out notice (see Downloads tab) was effective September, 2016.
