Whether you have a large facility or need monitoring over large distances, the prospect of laying new cable just for data signals is daunting. You’ve considered saving money by repurposing existing lines, but is it really viable as a solution? With Antaira Technology’s EVC-3001, the answer is an easy and resounding YES. This Ethernet extender provides a VDSL2 signal over existing phone lines without sacrificing voice communication.
The converter is a whole package. The compact design makes it easy to deploy wherever it is needed, and the low cost makes it appealing for use in multiple locations. The converter features 2 distinct RJ11 phone jacks. One handles the VDSL2 signal while the other is a Plain Old Telephone Signal (POTS) port. This enables simultaneous use of voice and data communications.
Those communications are optimized by a few important features. A DIP switch allows easy master/slave designation, point-to-point connections accessible at client side and central side modes. Designation between asymmetric and symmetric bands plans for upstream and downstream transmission signals. This comes with performance speeds of 100/55Mbps making it ideal for video on-demand, voice over IP, video phones, IPTV and many other applications.
It is rare for such a simple, low-priced device to offer so much to a network. You can extend local internet access by miles without laying a single foot of additional cable. And, you can create access points wherever they are needed. Talk with one of our expert representatives today. We can show exactly how this and other devices can expand your network in range and capacity, improving overall operations and efficiency with minimal financial and labor commitments.
